Rachael Q. Timberlake practices Five Element acupuncture, an ancient form of classical Chinese medicine that draws on a nature-based philosophy. She is inspired to work with people living in an urban environment, where the elements are more subtle, yet still very vital.
Rachael is committed to including you in the treatment plan by working with you on various lifestyle choices such as diet, exercise and daily routine. Her background in dance/theatre, yoga, and Buddhist meditation gives her a unique understanding of the inextricable relationship of mind and body. She will work to balance your whole energetic system, not just focus on individual symptoms.
For the past five years, Rachael has worked extensively with elders, both with acupuncture and as a caregiver. She enjoys working with seniors and understands the particular challenges that they face.
Rachael practices in New York City and lives in Brooklyn with her husband, percussionist Timothy Quigley, and their baby, Zoey. She also practices in New Paltz, NY.
